The most experienced mindfulness guidance in WNY.

A practice that creates real, lasting change.

.

Welcome. I’m truly glad you’re here.

“I highly recommend Maria’s guided mindfulness session to anyone who may be seeking a pathway to inner calm, personal growth, and a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.”

—Travic C., Entrepreneur/Husband/Father, Orchard Park, NY

For nearly three decades, I’ve witnessed lives change through the practice of mindfulness. It began with my own discovery that this practice offers a dependable way to navigate daily stress and life’s unexpected challenges. I live this practice every day and have shared it with more than a thousand students here in Western New York and around the world. Seeing how consistently it helps people find clarity, steadiness, and stress relief continues to fuel my passion for teaching.

You’re invited into my private, calming space — a place where time slows down, the focus is on you, and real change can begin with steady support.

If you’re here, something in you is ready for a shift, and I’m here to walk beside you.

I’ve walked this path, and I know how to guide you through it.

My work is practice-based and experiential. Students commit to a three-month program, enabling them to develop a practice that moves from understanding to real, lived change. The practices I teach are the same ones I learned years ago and continue to use myself, because this practice doesn’t end. It is dependable and supportive across all life stages.

This work is different from therapy. Together, we focus on what’s currently happening in your life and explore how to apply mindfulness to your unique circumstances so you may experience real, lasting change.

I work primarily with one-on-one clients and small groups, ideally in person, though virtual sessions can also be effective.

You don’t need to know where to begin
I’ll meet you exactly where you are.

I understand what you’re going through and what will help.

Working with Maria has positively transformed my life. Practicing mindfulness daily has made me a better person. It has also helped me heal from the grief of losing my husband/partner of nearly 37 years. I am very grateful.”

Mindfulness is a personal practice, but it’s not meant to be done alone. When I began my own practice, working with a mentor helped me see beyond my blind spots and stay connected to the practice when my own understanding was exhausted. Even after decades of practice and teaching, I still work with my mentor because my growth continues, and his guidance remains helpful.

This is what I offer my students: steady support, a clear perspective, and someone by their side when things feel confusing or overwhelming. I’m also here to encourage and celebrate you as you break free from old patterns of suffering and find freedom.

If you’re feeling stuck despite your best efforts, you’re not doing anything wrong; you may simply be at a place where guidance can help.

This is where our practice together begins.

This is where hope begins.

“The tools and knowledge Maria has given me have helped me tremendously. They have helped me personally, socially, and emotionally. Actually it’s been a game-changer. Mindfulness is a practice that could heal the world.”

— Danielle C. Buffalo, NY

"Taking your 8 week course was one of the best investments I've ever made! I've struggled with anxiety and tension for as long as I can remember. The practice you have taught me has given me a whole new perspective on life. I'm calmer, healthier, and happier. Thank you for changing my life!”

— Patty M. Buffalo, NY

“Maria not only taught me how to become aware of how stress and anxiety sneaks its way into my life, but taught me how to mindfully deal with these thought and emotions and restore peace into my day. I can't thank Maria enough for what she has taught me, I haven't felt this good in years!"
